Wonder Woman

I joined Monolith Productions shortly after the announce trailer for Wonder Woman premiered at the 2021 Game Awards. Shortly afterward I took ownership of gameplay engineering support for cinematic content, and later, lighting.

Much of my time was spent collaborating with artists and designers to build new and update existing procedural cinematic functionality. During this I designed and built an in-engine editor for cinematic content and an audition tool to trigger any cinematic content without need to actively play the game. The audition tool's goal was to build out an automation pipeline to perform regular captures of all cinematic content to boost QA iteration speed, directorial reviews, and assist with marketing.

Lighting was pretty solid when I took ownership more recently. I worked closely with lighting artists to fix issues in the in-engine editor; later helping plan a new cinematic lighting pipeline offering deep control and authoring capabilities.

These plans were cut short when Warner Bros. Discovery announced the game was being cancelled and the studio shutdown in late February 2025.
